  1. Voo de Mar says:
    Points won by each set: | 28-18, 25-33, 30-23, 29-25 |
Points won directly behind the serve:
    26 % Edberg – 28 of 108
    33 % Noah – 34 of 103

Their sixth and last match, Edberg finished that rivalry with a 6-0 H2H. On paper it was a quite balanced match-up: Noah [8] – better first serve, Edberg [3] – better offensive backhand… at the net, and with their baseline forehands, they seemed to be at the same level. Yet, somehow Edberg was winning crucial tie-breakers when they met (he was a better tie-break player in general, but not so distinctively to own Noah)… it wasn’t the case in Dallas. Apart from losing the serve at 4-all in the 2nd set, Edberg was easily holding throughout, it gave him the privilege to play freely as a receiver & he was putting his opponent under constant pressure.
