  1. Voo de Mar says:
    Points won by each set: | 31-19, 30-20 |
Points won directly behind the serve:
    43 % Auger – 22 of 51
    18 % Alcaraz – 9 of 49

Auger [8] has collected three titles within three weeks, all European indoors. First he won two ATP 250 events (Florence, Antwerp), then he triumphed in Switzerland. (ATP 500). Among 13 matches won in a row, only once he faced a higher ranked opponent, the new no. 1 – Alcaraz. The match of two players who presumably will be the best as far as the 20s decade is concerned, unfortunately disappointed – Alcaraz was serving poorly, and couldn’t stop his three years younger opponent to whom has lost all their three meetings.

Auger’s route to his 4th title:
    1 Marc-Andrea Huesler 6-7(3), 6-4, 6-4
    2 Miomir Kecmanovic 6-1, 6-0
    Q Alexander Bublik 6-2, 6-3
    S Carlos Alcaraz 6-3, 6-2
    W Holger Rune 6-3, 7-5

Auger six points away from a sensational loss to Hüsler as he hit a FH winner on the baseline at *3:4 (30-all) in the decider… The Canadian went through the event unbroken (he faced BP vs Alcaraz, and three BPs in two games of the 2nd set in the final)
