  1. Voo de Mar says:
Points won directly behind the serve:
    23 % Agassi – 37 of 156
    48 % Ivanisevic – 81 of 166

Agassi wasted one set point in the tie-break of that 2-hour 50-minute final. In the deciding set he managed to save a crucial break point at 3-all (4 deuces – the longest game of the match). According to the ATP website Agassi won 179 points, Ivanisevic 195 (it’s silly looking even at the scoreline)… Nevertheless, when I count points on my scorecards, it’s clear that Agassi won 163 points while Ivanisevic 159… | 49-53, 38-28, 33-25, 10-25, 33-28 |… 322 points in total will be also played in a QF match at Aussie Open ’98.

Agassi’s route to his maiden major title:
    1 Andrei Chesnokov 5-7, 6-1, 7-5, 7-5
    2 Eduardo Masso 4-6, 6-1, 6-3, 6-3
    3 Derrick Rostagno 6-3, 7-6(4), 7-5
    4 Christian Saceanu 7-6(1), 6-1, 7-6(0)
    Q Boris Becker 4-6, 6-2, 6-2, 4-6, 6-3
    S John McEnroe 6-4, 6-2, 6-3
    W Goran Ivanisevic 6-7(8), 6-4, 6-4, 1-6, 6-4

Fastest serves at Wimbledon ’92: Forget (210 kph), Stich (209 kph), Ivanisevic & Sampras (207 kph)
