  1. Voo de Mar says:
Points won directly behind the serve:
    40 % Rafter – 66 of 161
    26 % Agassi – 35 of 132

Their third consecutive Wimbledon semifinal, and second year running Rafter got a spot in the final after a 5-setter. The fact he won the 5th set in 2001 was like a miracle because Agassi had many chances to take that set; he wasted:
    – double break point at 2:0 (+ another two adv. break points)
    – break point at 3:1
    – he also led 5:3 & 5:4 (30/15) on serve when one of the longest rallies of the match occurred
    – finally had a mini-match point at 6-all
Rafter fought off six break points in the final set with four service winners & two volley winners – especially the first reflex-volley at 0:2 (15/40) was impressive. The Australian fired 30 aces (10 in the final set) which is his career-high; 3 out of 30 aces behind the second serves. Their 5-setter in the Wimbledon semifinal a year before.
