   Windy conditions and very long rallies because of that, especially in the opener… The final lasted four minutes longer than their previous 5-set marathon at the Australian Open ’12, however, in New York they played 30 points fewer (315 to 345). Murray needed six set points to take the opener (12/10 in the tie-break), and already led *4:0 (15/0) in the 2nd set. Description of the final.
