I think the most important moment of rematch of the US Open ’07 final, occurred as Djokovic [3] led 3:2* (30/0) in the 3rd set – there was an exchange of backhands with the Serb dictating the pace, but he committed an error instead of creating a triple break point. The Swiss held at ‘love’ trying to stay in that set. In the 4th set D’Joke led 2:1* (deuce) when Federer [2] took the last five games of the 2-hour 45-minute encounter.

An interesting comparison of the pace of play between two pairs of the Big 4 guys on the same court within three years:
US Open ’08, s-final: Federer d. Djokovic 6-3, 5-7, 7-5, 6-2… 41 games, 249 points in total… 2 hours 45 minutes
US Open ’11, s-final: Nadal d. Murray 6-4, 6-2, 3-6, 6-2… 35 games, 232 points in total… 3 hours 24 minutes
