   An ugly match on Grandstand Court. Due to heavy rain the players waited around 10 hours to enter the court and once they did it, the stadium was almost empty – it hadn’t been changed too much within two hours of play before they were forced to leave the court again at 5:4* for Hrbaty in the 3rd set (he came back from 2:4). After the resumption 13 hours later under the Sun, the Briton lost two of three games and the set, but took the 4th set easily, advancing to his sixth and last major semifinal (he lost them all). In the crucial 2nd set, Henman saved three set points serving at 4:5.
