    27 % Courier – 18 of 65
    18 % Chang – 12 of 64

Courier, along with Edberg & Sampras, the most successful player of the years 1991-93, after a disappointing 1994 season, regained his passion to tennis in 1995. Admittedly it was a year of three players: Sampras, Agassi & Muster, but in the shadow of a tremendous Sampras-Agassi rivalry, Courier & Chang co-created their own “Who’s the third best player in America” – they faced each other as many as seven times in 1995, equalling the McEnroe-Lendl record of 1984. Their rivalry eventually won Chang 4-3 #, but three places lower ranked Courier was appointed to play in the Davis Cup ’95 final vs Russia… In that Tokyo semifinal, Courier [15] saved the only break point in the 2nd game of the 2nd set, later on he trailed 4:5 (15/30).
