  1. Voo de Mar says:
    Points won by each set: | 31-22, 44-41 |
Points won directly behind the serve:
    31 % Medvedev – 22 of 70
    35 % Raonic – 24 of 68

Apart from a hiccup at *6:5 in the 2nd set, Medvedev [5] played a perfect match. He broke in the 5th game to set up the tone of the match. In the 2nd set, at 4:3 Raonic [17] had three break points, but on each opportunity Medvedev controlled the point. In the tie-break he built a 4:0 advantage and finished the match with an overhead expanding his H2H over the Canadian to 3:0. “When you play against Milos, you are always at risk because [if] one time he breaks you, it is very tough to break him back,” said Medvedev. “I knew I had to stay focused. The first set was amazing, I had zero break points to save… and I managed to break him in a good way.”

    Serve & volley: Medvedev 1/1, Raonic 4/4
Average serve speed: Medvedev 203/157 kph, Raonic 205/178 kph
