  1. Voo de Mar says:
    Points won by each set: [ 29-23, 24-32, 10/4 ]
    Points won directly on serve:
    39 % Zverev – 21 of 53
    49 % Raonic – 34 of 69

For the first time in the third edition, the 12th and last match, had to decide which team would capture the trophy & Zverev [6] got the crucial three points for the second time surviving a battle against a big server. He had no problems to hold the serve throughout, but was unexpectedly broken at 2:3 in the 2nd set. Raonic [24] played poorly as a receiver and at the net the whole match, yet his powerful serving somehow helped him to produce the deciding tie-break (he saved four break points serving at 5:3 in the 2nd set). “It was an unbelievable weekend. Those guys [Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal] were screaming at me in the locker room before the Match Tie-break, saying this is how I could turn my season around. Without all of these guys on the bench, I couldn’t have done it,” Zverev said. “This is very special, especially playing in front of those guys and having them trust me to play the last match.” Zverev notched the clincher also a year before.

Serve and volley: Zverev 0, Raonic 3/8
