   Ugly match, the first out of three Ferreira’s [17] Masters 1K finals. He was playing quite good tennis based on aggressive serves until he led 3:2* in the 2nd set, having hit twofold more winners. Then the extremely solid Courier [1] managed to get 10 of the final 11 games while the South African was indicating pain in his right shoulder. “I was never really in trouble,” Courier said. “I didn’t lose my serve the whole match. My confidence is high at this point. I like to feel unbeatable. When I’m confident I can go for my shots. “ Someone counted that Ferreira committed 51 unforced errors to Courier’s 19.
